Timeline 

2021

We left Zhichun Road and formally moved to Tianchuang Technology Building in the heart of Zhongguan Village. iSource welcomed Barclay Jiang, who is qualified to practice as a lawyer and patent attorney in both China and the United States, and began our international IP service.

2020

In March, after 7 years of litigation, we obtained a reexamination decision from the Supreme Court which upheld an invalidation decision in our favor against Columbia Sports & Leisure North America's 201090000521.2 patent, "Thermal Composite Layer".

2019

With over 30 professionals now on the team, iSource relocated to the Dingli Office Building.

2018

Senior patent attorney Yang Wang joined iSource, and our patent agency capability was further enhanced.

2017

Our paper, the "Method of Expanding and Releasing Computing Resources for Real-time Streaming Computing and its Apparatus" received the first "National Excellent Invention Patent Application Agency Case" award.

2016

In July, iSource moved to its new location, and our office area was increased to nearly 300 square meters. We were joined by senior design patent attorney, Jing Dong.

2015

In January, the iSource paper "Seven Steps of Patent Claim Writing" was selected and published in the "2014 National Symposium on Patent Examination and Patent Agency Outstanding Papers".

2014

The 16th China Patent Gold Award was announced, and was won by the Patent for "A Hydraulic Cylinder and Hydraulic Buffer System, Excavator and Concrete Pump Truck" (ZL201010235138.1), written by iSource attorneys.

2013

In July, iSource was recognized by Alibaba Group, and the two parties signed a long-term patent agency agreement.

2012

On December 1, iSource began in a 170meter squared apartment in the Sigma Building on Zhichun Road, Zhongguan Village, Haidian District, Beijing, China.
